My LO is 3.5 months and I still swaddle him. He has started showing signs of wanting to roll over so I am wanting to get him to start sleeping in a sleep sack so his arms are free. But each time we've tried he has a horrible sleep and wakes up/startles when put into his crib. Any tips on transitioning away from swaddling are greatly appreciated!

Try the zipadee it helped a lot for mine who I had to stop swaddling at 2.5 months

Mine started rolling around 3 months and I used the NARUTOO swaddles from amazon. They feel like a swaddle in how tight they are on the body but arms can be free.. you may need to also put mitts on their hands to help if they poke themselves.. my little one did at first 😅

Love to dream sack. It helps with the transition.that is what we are using

First swaddle him with one arm out for a couple of days. Then gradually transition to both arms out (but still swaddle him around the chest area)...then finally try without swaddle. It will take a few days of adjustment and you might have a few restless nights but rest assured, your baby will catch on!
