Toys?!?

What's your little one playing with at the moment?
Feel like my girl is bored of the toys she has and Christmas seems a while away ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Anything she can chew and anything she shouldn't have ๐Ÿ˜‚ empty bottles she loves, a mirror, activity cube, megablox, musical instruments shakers etc, teethers...

Doorknobs, radiators, the side of the moses basketโ€ฆ. ๐Ÿ˜† Basically there was no reason to buy all the toys Iโ€™ve gotten, but out of them his favorites are bubbles, anything on wheels, and books that we read together

At this exact moment a shoe box. It did have some objects in for her to explore. But the box is far more interesting

Thanks ladies ๐Ÿ˜Š
Her favourite 'toy' at the moment is a silicone whisk so I'm glad it's not just her ๐Ÿคฃ
Don't think I'll get any new ones and just hold off for Christmas ๐Ÿฉท thanks! x

The only actual toys sheโ€™s enjoying are musical ones (rattles/shakers) and books. Otherwise she just wants to chew the corner of the rug, lick the pram wheels, climb the stairs, swing on the curtains, empty the box of bibs, play with the fireplace ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and Iโ€™m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesnโ€™t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? ๐Ÿ˜…

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He wonโ€™t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

Heโ€™s very interested in things that arenโ€™t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesnโ€™t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow itโ€™s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs donโ€™t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so heโ€™s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we canโ€™t just leave him to it. Typically itโ€™s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work ITโ€™S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคก

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(
