High chair recommendations?

I’ve got a £40 mamas and papas voucher so ideally from what they sell on there! But nothing too expensive!

I got the Mamas and Papas snax highchair and I quite like it, having difficulty figuring out the straps though cause they're tighted to the max and still to big for my little one 🥲

Could you use the voucher for something else? The Ikea Antilop is highly recommended for positioning, easy to clean etc and you can buy bits off of etsy if you don’t like how plain it is.. It’s also only £19 so that’s a bonus

I dont have one from Mamas and Papas but mine has good foot support and a harness to keep him inside lol And my straps as well are too big on him slightly. But with the tray on he’s not going anywhere.

I asked in a local mums group and 90% of the girls said the IKEA antilop, we ended it getting it and it’s fab, only £19 and all plastic so easy to clean, can buy extras aswell xx

Chloe I’m having the same issue with the straps. There must be a way to tighten from the back!?

Avatar

really! I’ll have a look then! Xx

Avatar

oh okay! I’ve seen a few people mention that, thank you xx

It's so frustrating there has to be a way hahaha! The instructions don't help in the slightest 🤦‍♀️

We’ve gone for a cosatto waffle as my little one is very small and we needed something which could be fully adjustable and supportive xx

I have this high chair and I thought the same like there should be something at the back to stop it pulling through, but then my sister came round and was like Gemma you’ve got it on the loosest so… if you have a mum brain like me, double check the straps and move them the other way to see if they get tighter or not. I was convinced there was some part missing and it was me being stupid 😂

Thanks and I’m going to try this now. Glad I’m not the only one

I have the 8 in 1 maxi cosi and have to say it’s really good. We’d previously bought the maxi cosi Ava which was awful

Thanks & @Gemma I'm going to try this, hopefully it'll work and stop my girl chewing on the straps 😂

Did you know this was a thing?

Didn’t know this existed! I’m actually not breastfeeding 2nd time round (though wish I did) after a bad experience with my 1st baby. But this is something I 100% needed 1st time round.

Screeching baby

I have twin boys, 5months.

One is very quiet

The other... is like a pterodactyl who screeches when bored, tired, hungry, as soon as he wake up to be held etc...
This habit has only just started!

Has anyone else experienced this and how long did it last?
So far it has been about 5 days 😭😭😭😭

Fighting naps

Does anybody else feel like they spend all day trying to get baby to nap? I get tempted to give up as he must not be that tired but he is too cranky to play or do anything else!

Joie Signature Parcel LX lightweight stroller

Has anyone got this stroller? Up until now we have used our mamas and papas ocarro and we love it. However we are going on holiday in June and looking at a lightweight stroller to take with us. I'm not bothered if it fits in overheard locker, I would rather have decent wheels on the stroller and this one does have slightly bigger wheels than most travel strollers we have seen. Has anyone used this stroller abroad or got any other recommendations? TIA x

Any experience with different teats?

Hey Mamas

So my little girl is exclusively breastfed but she wont even take FRESHLY PUMP milk from the bottle. I had a whole 4oz that was going to waste and baby girl was just massanging her gums and smiling lol :/
Ive tried adding extra holes with a needle, the ol' switcheroo (BF first then switch ti bottle) but she's very keen and notices straight away.
Im currently using Nuby and Tommee silicone bottles, and I would like to try more softer, boob-like teats.

Id ideally like her to take a bottle so Dad can give me a REAL break yknow.

Has anyone had this same experience? Any teats one would recommend?
Thank you in advance!
