I am a first time mum to be and am not sure what kind of toys should be bought for babies. Please help with links and suggestions. Thank you!

In the beginning they really don’t need a lot at all. I wouldn’t say they use anything till 3 months but things like sensory toys you can get packs on Amazon - feathers, foil, mesh clothes and then mirrors and things to encourage tummy time.
For babies they recommend black and white cards to track and follow etc xx

Yeah don’t buy much of anything until they are sitting up, you might not have to as well with relatives and friends wanting to spoil the baby. My son still just wants to play with plates and spoons at 2 so the money I have spent on toys hasn’t felt great considering he’s out grown those toys now and didn’t play with them much when they were age appropriate. But maybe see as you go along rather than stock pile before the baby?

Thank you so much ! :)

thank you! So it's best not to buy any or maybe just a few will do.

Some things a good for tummy time, especially if baby doesn't enjoy it. Mirrors and fold out black and white books are good. Babys eyesight won't be spot on for awhile but once they hit a stage, it's good to have

My 6 week old just started now to look at his hanging toys and he follows rattling toys of I shake them.
But if you're not too bothered about them watching TV, my son really likes sensory newborn videos on youtube and that keeps him busy for about 10mins at a time
