Extreme nausea and off work

Anyone else having to go off sick due to “morning” sickness? I feel so guilty!

Yep! I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and since 5 weeks, I've worked 1 week!

Me too, seeing my gp this afternoon for some more advice and hopefully anti-sickness. Feel trapped in my own house 😔

Me! It’s actually the worst. I’m a teacher and feel sooo guilty for being off but I’ve had to call in sick the past 2 days. Also had another 3 days off at different times. We just have to remind ourselves that we are priority right now 🤍🤍

I’m a stay @ home mom & know for a fact I would have to take leave with this pregnancy. I am struggling to keep the household & watch my 2 kids, it’s so much work but fortunately my husband works from home & I don’t have to get dressed & pretty to go into an office.

I have been off work since week 6 due to a severe morning sickness called HG (hyperemesis gravidarum). I'm on meds, I don't vomit that much now but I have constant and severe nausea and I'm bedridden most of the days. I'm currently 9 weeks. My gp signed me off for another 10 days. This is my second pregnancy. I had the same symptoms with my first :( I know it's hard x

Please don't feel bad it's a natural thing some of us really suffer and your team should understand this. It's much better understood and recognised now. It's best for you and baby and hopefully won't last long.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
