Helllllooooo! My son is 6 months and some change & I want to start solids but don’t know what to start with or how to introduce it to him. Currently he only eats formula and baby food purées. Any recommendations appreciated!!
Side note- he doesn’t have any teeth yet if that makes any difference

Hi! I just started this week with solids. My daughter is 6 months old, too. I just mashed up some avocado and she loved it! Next I'm trying sweet potatoe. The pediatrician recommended only doing one ingredient food for 3 days to make sure no reaction. She also has no teeth yet.

We started with bananas and Avocado. My husband has given him eggs. He now samples rice, rice crispies cereal and ice cream

DL the app Solid Starts! I love that it shows age suggestions and “how to serve” based on age.

What a cutie. We do blw and they don't need teeth to chew bc their gums are really strong. You might want to check out the solid starts app it shows how to properly modify most foods for babies. This fb group is also incredible https://www.facebook.com/groups/blwbb1/?ref=share&mibextid=Na33Lf and will help with what they can eat and how to serve

Came to also recommend the solid starts app. My little guy is 7 months today. We started with sweet potatoes and zucchini. It’s amazing how strong of an eater he is already after a month.

Check out Solid Starts. They have a free app that recommends how to prepare almost any food for different ages. It's great, you just search like sweet potato and it'll say how to make it for a6 month old!

I also recommend solid starts ❤️

I’ve only been doing teething snacks
