FET advice

Hi ladies, I’m currently just started my medication for my FET and I’m just looking for a bit of advice on what to do and what to include.
At the moment I’m taking
Pregnacare
Vitamin E
Vitamin D
Coq10
Baby Aspirin
Just added in b12

Thinking of adding in
Zinc
Omega 3
Antihistamine

Going to up my fruit intake of berries, pomegranate.

I only have 2 cups of tea a day but going to move to decaf now.

Overall my diet is healthy and I walk for about 1hour30 mins a day.

I did do acupuncture for a while before my fresh and when trying naturally and it didn’t help so I’m not bothering this time around.

Is there anything else anyone recommends please? And does the above sound ok?

I Read these below list on 1 of the IVF grp.
List of Do's and Don't for transfer.
♥️ Positive affirmations - all day everyday. ( It's my turn, I will be pregnant and stay pregnant. I will have a healthy happy baby or two. Repeat morning and night and everytime you have doubt. )
🧡 No scents on transfer day. Shower the night before and rinse with water only the day of. No makeup, perfume, deodarant for you and your partner. Embryos do not like smells.
💛 Supplements (different for everyone) but me: pregv it5, ubiqu onol, metfor min, Myo inosit ol, b6 complex, vitamin E complex, Omega 3, vitamin D and mela tonin. Advice should be given on there.
💚 Diet: intermittent fasting (16 hours) healthy whole foods, low carb and no added sugar.
💙 No cold foods day of or after transfer (tww) room temp or warmer
💜 Find a hobby in your two week wait to occupy your mind.
🤎 Take time off. Relax and recharge!
🖤 Get moving after before and transfer. Walks and low intensity activity.

🖤 Get moving after before and transfer. Walks and low intensity activity.
🤍 McDonald's fries after transfer
♥️ Pineapple core day of transfer and the following 4 days
🧡 Laugh a lot. Watch funny movies etc. Post transfer.
💛 Tell no one. Keep it between you and hubby.
💚 Eat a small portion of avocado daily
💙 Pomegranate juice daily (small portion) pre and post transfer
💜 Brazil nuts daily, 2-3 (pre and post transfer)
🤎 Trust your doctor for the protocol! Remember he is the expert, not you! And you are paying him good money for it!!
🖤 No heavy lifting
🤍 Keep your feet warm
♥️No sex after transfer
🧡 No extreme temperatures (heat) baths etc

thank you so much Nancy! So much info here which is what I need 😊

My personal suggestion would be
1. Eat avacados and keep your walks not too exhausting and long.
2. Keep praying and have faith that it will happen.
3 talk to your baby that we are strong and will be together soon
4. Watch comedy or funny movies or shows
5. Don't focus on outcome and expect too much from tranfer , it will give you stress. Whatever you could do you did it so rest leave it to GOD. All the very best and sending lots of baby dust your way. Wishing you a miracle 🙏

If you’re taking Pregnacare Conception Max, you’re already taking the right amount of Vitamin D, CoQ10, B12, Zinc and Omega 3 - so you don’t need extras of those. Be careful not to overload yourself with supplements, you can have too much of a good thing.

I’m not really sure what the anti-histamine is for? Did your doctor tell you to take that?

My doctor has said it’s ok to take 600mg of ubiquinol and 5mg of melatonin, but she didn’t outright recommend them - I asked her.

More important than any supplement is the need to eat a balanced diet, drink water and reduce stress. That’s it. You’re already doing everything you need to do - the rest is the toss of a coin I’m afraid. Learning to let go and give yourself over to fate is one of the hardest parts, but there’s really not much you can do to affect the outcome one way or another.

Best of luck for your transfer. 🍀❤️

thank you Sharon 😊 do you think I’m over doing it on the supplements? The antihistamine I heard can help prevent miscarriage (which I’m prone to having)

thank you! I think it’ll be a bit late to the party with acupuncture now 😞 my transfer is in roughly 2 weeks.
I’ve swapped my 2 cups of tea a day for decaf now so hopefully I’m not too late with this x

I wouldn’t take anything you haven’t run by your IVF doctor, tbh. Personally, I sort of feel like the more things you take, the more it can stress you out. But I also know it can give some folks a sense of control. I think you’ve just gotta remember that the largest part of this is actually out of your control and it’s better to accept that and just go with the flow. Meditation is my favourite supplement. That, and yoga. Xx

I agree! As hard as it is, there really isn't much we can do to make or break a FET's success aside from not following doctor's orders on the FET meds.

For me, I kept moving, eating, and living life as much as I could like normal. Stuck to 200 mg of caffeine or less. My first transfer is currently playing beside me and I'm hoping my second transfer is finding a nice little implantation spot. I'm trying not to stress about every little thing because I know I've done everything I can to help bring her into the world and now it is out of my control.

Thank you ladies. Truthfully do you think I’m taking too many supplements?

When I had my successful FET, all I had was a prenatal, ubiquinol and baby aspirin. You don't need to load up on vitamins at all. I also didn't do acupuncture and I got pregnant so I wouldn't worry about that either. My mindset also changes after two failed transfers and I just said to myself that my body will know what to do and so will that embryo and I just went in more relaxed. I think stressing over vitamins and lifestyle choices has such a negative impact on my first two that I didn't want it to rule my life. Just take deep breaths, take the day off, and relax. You can do this ❤️ if you ever need to chat, DM me any time 🙂

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣
