My son is 8 months and I have been back to work for 3 months... I have to pump while at work and I am SO OVER IT!!! I love nursing and the bond i have with my son because of it but i absolutely despise pumping 😢 I want so badly to make it the full year so my son doesn't have to have formula but continuing to pump while at work is taking a tiny toll on my mental.... the pros still out weigh the cons but damn!!!!

Honestly I completely feel you, I never had any success with breastfeeding so I've been exclusively pumping for nearly 6 months and it is tough🥴!! The noise the pumps make, the feeling of it on my nips, the whole overestimulating 30 minute sessions sometimes longer, all of it urks me right to my soul at this point 🤢 but 8 months wow mama you should already be so so proud already!! You're so close to your goal too🥰 6 months has always been my main goal so I'm currently in the process of weaning off the pumps, I am READY to be done with this life 😂
Sending love & positive thoughts your way ❤️

I get it.... I feel the same about pumping. I'm fortunate that I don't have to be in the office every day but I'm now counting down the days (literally!) until I don't have to pump in the office ever again. My little one is now 10 months old. I'm also aiming to go to one year.

thank you! I am actually VERY proud of myself making it this long and since I have made it this long, I feel like I'd be failing myself if I gave up now. It's only 4 more months, ya know? The whole process is so frustrating for me as well. Finding a place to pump, getting the pump out and assembled, getting my pump bra on and all hooked up, spending 20-30 minutes attached to the wall and then the disassembly 🥴🙄 and then the feeling like supervisors are annoyed that I have to go pump atleast twice a day. And then going home, making sure everything is out away and cleaned just to do it all again the next day!!!! So time consuming! But so worth it!
Good for you for reaching your goal! ❤ thank you for the love, thoughts and response! Makes me feel better and not alone

I would give anything to be a stay at home mom to be honest! You can make it, only a few more months ❤

so can you 😊 Whatever happens, do what you need to do for your little one to have a happy Mum
