My 4 month old doesn’t want to be held by anyone other than me and my husband. Since she was born our parents have visited and spent time with her along with many other friends and family. The last few weeks even if someone speaks to her, shows her some attention she cries and buries her head into us.
It’s really sad when grandparents want a cuddle or some interaction. Is anyone else dealing with this too? Any tips?

Similar! Our LO is around family and friends all the time, hes got alot more clingy around people he dosent see often and will cry in their faces untill someone he knows gets him! Thing its normal at this age as there more aware of who folk are and who theyve seen more off maybe? Xx

Following, I'm having this issue too. I went to visit my dad over the weekend who we try to see every week or 2 weeks and she screamed the house down when my dad or stepmum held her and I felt so bad. She was ok on the floor and babbled at them but if they held her she got clingy to me

Really normal between 4-7 months they start to understand object permanence. You aren’t doing anything wrong except rather shows you both have created a loving strong bond with your LO. I hope that makes you feel a little better but I know it won’t make it easier. Just keep up what your doing with the grandparents 🤎
