I've been struggling with this for so long now it bothers me even more.
I started working for a big chain hotel in The Hague with a 1 year contract, within the year I got pregnant and 1 day before my maternity leave starts I was called in by HR and the DO so that they will say to me the following
"You won't have time with a baby"
"You won't be flexible enough to work when we want you to"
"The team doesn't trust you'll be there"(total bull if you ask me)
"You won't have time for anything anymore"
I've been a chef for over a decade and this is the first time I was treated in such way. It hurt me so much that they left me hanging while 8,5 months pregnant that I'm trying to change fields and it just doesn't work.
I'm at a loss. I feel like I don't know what I'm doing anymore work wise. I'm staying at home with my baby all day without having much going on.

I'm confused, they pulled you into the office while you are close to delivering? When did you start the job/ do they offer maternity leave?
