My baby has been in fruit purees/yoghurt for a little over a month, she's just turned 6 months and gave her a couple of wafers and melty puffs all of which she loves but I'm not sure where to begin for real food? Other than over cooked broccoli 🥦

It all depends on the parents, my girl is 5½ and she eats anything I purees and she loves it. So if u feel comfortable to give any puree go for it. U can make a blend of 🥦🥒🌽 🥕🌽 etc cook to soft and puree

We've been giving our 6.5 month old pretty much anything we eat! We use the solid starts app to cut the food safe for him to eat. If there's anything we aren't comfortable giving him yet, we will give purees or baby oatmeal.

Thank you! I'm so excited for her to try things as she always looks so disappointed when we eat something in front of her and she doesn't have it! Other than the melty puffs and wafers, I make her purees as I think if I won't eat it she's not so it'll be so much easier to just do what we have (minus the spice to begin with). Still a little nervous about her choking 🙈 xx

@Antonia our son would get so frustrated too when we ate and he wasn't 😅 I'm still nervous about choking, but it gets better the more they try and they better they get at chewing! Hope it all goes well for her!

My 6 month old eats everything we eat. Tonight she did a chicken wing, toast, pineapple, green beans. Not what we had for dinner 😂
