My LB will sleep 7pm to 7am with 1 (maybe 2) wake ups lasting no longer than 25 minutes. Yet he is sometimes still so cranky when we wakes up. He fights the sleep during the day, which I know can be a sign of overtired, but he does get a good amount of sleep. Is anyone else's baby similar??

Mines very similar, I find he’s only really awake 6/7 hours a day, have tried extending his wake windows and doing a bit more with him but he ends up so grouchy! So I just follow his lead now x

@Toni sounds like my boy. During the day he still fights the sleep but will only sleep for 30 minutes at a time! I'm trying to extend the naps so he'll be less grumpy 🤣

Mine used to be like that and then it all changed and she started napping well in the day and now wakes an average of 3 times at night, sometimes many more! Waaaa! Not fun! X

@Katherine oh no 😢 maybe I should accept he's going to be a better Sleeper at night than napping! Hope your little girl gets back to sleeping well at night x

I didn't enjoy her fighting sleep in the day but, because I'd slept well, I had the energy to deal with it! Now, the days are much easier with hardly any tears but the nights can be brutal, which, apart from week 1, we haven't had to deal with before! Everything's a phase apparently - just got to ride it out! X

Same with mine. Sleeps 12 hours at night and wakes up once for a feed. Yesterday for instance slept just over 6 hours during the day and still struggling to wake him up from naps! He is fighting naps but wants to sleep, doesnt fall asleep if it is not pitch black and doesn’t last more than 30 min if not contact naps so now im trying to do all contact naps but still tired! 🤣

@Katherine yeah working on no sleep makes it all tougher but it will pass soon x

@Carmen yes contact naps are the only hope for anything longer than 30 minute 🤣
