I'm in the final week of my pregnancy and this morning my other half was quite aggressive towards me over money.
I asked for money for food shopping, he gave me some and I said it wouldn't be enough for what we need. He got really angry and started smashing up the front door then launched something at my head. Luckily it missed me but it has made me feel so broken when I should be feeling safe and excited together to meet baby. I feel like I'm not going to be able to move on from this.
Am I being unreasonable or is he?

No you are not being unreasonable at all. You have a baby on the way to think about as well. You know your partner best so you know how you feel about it. Do you have family close by? Xx

You are absolutely NOT being unreasonable, please don’t even begin to think that.
His behaviour is vile, if you do not feel safe do you have alternative family members nearby you could stay with ? xx

No partner should EVER behave like that towards their other half. I would run as far as I can as it's clearly a dangerous place for you and your baby. Perhaps you have a family who can help and definitely speak to you midwife about this situation. They should be aware of local services and also where you can seek advice. Sorry you need to go through something like that. 😞

Not unreasonable at all. Please speak up to your midwife or family and if possible get out of that situation; he shouldn’t have done that, and honestly you deserve better :) esp when your baby comes, you’ll feel a protectiveness beyond anything you’ve felt before, get out now xx

Get yourself safe ASAP. Don't let Jim harm you or unborn baby! Go to family or friends . You are definitely not being unreasonable and if you think that it's probably becuase he has gaslit you into taking the blame. This is not OK and staying around him will do more harm than good.

Agree with all the above and sending love. You and your baby are priority 💛 get out and be safe
Thank you all. I'm still upset and in shock to be honest.
We've been together over 7 years and he hasn't been violent to me, we have a 2 year old already and he is an amazing dad. She loves him dearly. I think the money situation is really getting to him. But totally agree I don't deserve that behaviour and neither do the children. If I had somewhere to go I would as I feel I'm walking on egg shells but unfortunately I have no savings and no family that can help. He's lost his temper before and pushed me once years ago but never since and shouts and says horrible things in rage normally but for him to act like that and whilst I'm carrying his baby. I just don't know what he is thinking!

Nope not good at all..my fella told me to fuck off 3 days ago while i was driving.
I opened the car door & made him get out and walk in the rain & not spoken or seen him since.
I wont put up with that behaviour at all.
Easy for me to say as i have my own home, money & not another child together but i do understand how u feel.
Whats meant to be a exciting special time is ruined & tarnished.
Your meant to feel loved supported and safe not stressed.
