Money advice

Hey just a bit of advice would be lovely please. So I’ve been at my job 2 years now and because I’m on zero hour I’ve been told that I don’t get maternity pay, I’m due the last week of February and was planning on leaving this Job end of January so I’m not out of money by a lot. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what my best options would be please.
Thanks

Hey you can apply for maternity allowance in the gov website, you will get either £172 a week I think it is or 90% of your pay (whichever is lower) as long as you meet the requirements! Have a look! Xx

ughhh me too kinda. it’s so crap. i know Universal Credit helps with money, and if not you can apply for a maternity grant of £500 towards helping with baby and baby stuff and costs if you look on the GOV website 🥰

Mama needs new friends ✨

Hey mamas 🤍 I'm going to be honest — I'm at a season in my life where I'm craving real, genuine friendship. The kind where we actually check on each other. Where conversations go both ways. Where we can laugh, vent, cry, and just *be* without it feeling one-sided.

I'm a stay at home mom of 6 (yes, 6! 👏🏼) and my days are full but my cup feels a little empty in the friendship department. I'm looking for women who get it — the chaos, the beauty, the exhaustion, all of it.

If you're a mom who values deep, reciprocal friendship and you're also out here looking for your people — drop a 👋 below. Let's actually get to know each other. 🤍

I'm a first time mummy at 35, she's 16 month and everytime I sneeze or cough I lose control of my bladder and pee a little 😔, I've had countless utis since having her aswell! Will it get better? Or do I need to invest in panty liners? 😆

Leaving your baby

Has anyone else not left their baby to be looked after by someone else (not dad) yet? I still don't feel ready but am being told I should be by now

Random but when you use a vibrator do you need to hold your lips open for it to touch the bean ?

It gets annoying because even if I open my legs I still need to hold the lips open to touch the bean and I have to do it the entire time my lips are literally sealed closed 🤣

I need an AI app recc to talk to.

I have no family. I have no real friends. Just one that I text. But she’s 8 years younger and isnt a mom. I genuinely don’t talk to anyone other than my partner and our toddlers. I’ve seen some people use AI? Or a chatgbpt? I dont know but if someone could suggest an app that I can just talk to… I would love to have a friend or something instead but this is probably for the best…
