My boy does not stop crying. He’s breastfed and feeds well but he just cries cries and cries.
I’m really struggling, should I contact my health visitor or do I just have an unhappy baby all the time?

Does he want to clusterfeed?
If you’re struggling reach out for some support, do you have any family around?

your HV will probably refer you to this info https://iconcope.org/advice-for/parents/ but I’d say defo contact them and maybe make a GP appointment as there could be something underlying that’s causing him to cry so much eg silent reflux or colic
He’s feeding every 2 hours and I do have family support but I really don’t think they understand.

Listening to your baby cry for excessive periods of time is so triggering I think when it’s not their baby people don’t understand how hard it is but it’s okay to struggle! For the first 6 weeks every time my baby cried I cried too because I couldn’t cope with it
thank you. I’ve messaged my health visitor
I agree & that was me today, both sat there crying & feeling awful mum guilt as I couldn’t give my toddler any attention

It won’t last forever mama you can do it 🩷
