Induction @ 39 weeks

Welp, I finally have my induction scheduled and I am READY! I thought long and hard about this and came to the realization this was the best option for me. Baby boy will be here next week 🥳 I’m still praying and hoping he comes before Sunday on his own but if not, I’m fine with that. Anybody else plan on getting induced?

2nd pregnancy, first induction here 🙋🏽‍♀️ I go in for my induction Wednesday @ 5am. My water broke w my son so I’m hoping she’ll do the same so I don’t have to be induced 😭

congrats and prayers up for a safe delivery! 🫶🏾 I really don’t want to be induced either, I feel you. I am in TOO much pain right now, it’s unbearable. I am healthy and so is baby boy. My cervix is also favorable so that’s why I’m making the decision to go with it. Everything will work out 🙌🏾

Congratulations! You made the right decision because sometimes these babies are stubborn and go past their due date and it can feel so miserable lol

yessss too stubborn🥲 I’m dilated to a 3cm and 75% effaced rn so my ob was comfortable doing an induction date. I’m feeling contractions most of yesterday but I slept pain free. Let’s hope these babies come healthy no matter on their own or w help. Been moving into our new house this weekend and almost done so now I’m ready 😌

thanks love! I’m due the 19th but I’ve been 2cm dilated and 90% effaced since 35 weeks. My pelvic bone hurts SO BAD, I can’t even walk anymore or get out of bed without my husbands help. What is the hold up with this little stubborn baby boy!? 😂😂

same! my OB said my cervix is favorable and I think that has a lot to do with why some women have horror induction stories. They don’t have trustworthy doctors. You are not supposed to have an option for elective induction before 39 weeks and also if your cervix is closed (unless it’s for medical reasons).. let’s hope and pray 🥹🫶🏾🫶🏾

2nd pregnancy 2nd induction 1st time my water broke and I didn't go into labor 🙃 this time its scheduled. I've been 1.5 cm dilated, and my cervix is 60% thinned for 3 weeks and no baby. I'm also hoping he decides to make an appearance by the 10 before induction date(the 15th) , so i feel you 😅

Scheduled as well! Hoping she decides to come before then, but if she continues to be stubborn the formal vacate notice is ready 😂😂

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

Planned c section

Has anyone had a planned c section and been home the same day?

I have a feeling like I might get attacked from this but I’m going to say it anyways. incognito 🥸 GLP1s being mainstream for regular people who are NOT diabetic or morbidly obese is bad for so many reasons 💉💉💉

Side affects, long term dependency, supply shortages and costs, regaining the weight back as soon as you get off them.. all that ASIDE how do people not see just from a zoomed out perspective how crazy it is. I can’t imagine being someone facing food insecurity in an underdeveloped country and watching westerners give themselves daily jabs so they can lose weight while still eating a calorie surplus/ crappy foods. It’s giving hunger games when district 12 Katniss finds out at the party at the capital that people eat and then take a pill to make themselves sick so they can 🤮 and eat some more. These ads running ozempic everywhere are disgusting, and then getting amazing athletes like Serena Williams to push them talking bout “i’ve never been healthier” girl you were an OLYMPIC athlete wym??

Hey ladies when did you ditch the compression socks and how mobile were you when you did? I’m so done with them! 6 weeks tomorrow since the op and im walking around the house doing jobs and baby care but not really out and about yet (the odd day I am) is it safe to ditch the socks?

Getting pregnant after c section

When did you get pregnant again after a c section? Our plan was always to have 2 under 2 but that is now out the window because I had an emergency section. I know they say 18 months and we will be sticking to it (as much as I don’t want to) but I’m curious how quickly you got pregnant after your section?
