Had my 20 week scan today and I'm wondering what's next? This is my first pregnancy. I have a midwife appointment at the end of the month presumably for around 23 weeks ISH where I'll have my whopping cough vaccine but what happens after. Like is that it until birth now? No more scans or heartbeat listens?
Just feels weird you get checked up on In first half then second half it's like you disappear until birth.

A list of app you should be offered. Should have midwife appointments most areas do a 36 week scan x

I’ve got Bounty App and it lists all the appointments you should be getting. So next for me is 25 week midwife appointment and then a 31 week midwife appointment as it’s my first. Then it gets to the business end of things so potentially become more regular (34/36/38 etc). You can upload your hospital info and your appointment info to it too so it’s good to keep yourself up to date.

You’ll be seen roughly every 3 weeks from 25 weeks onwards, and every 2 weeks when you get closer to your due date.
Unfortunately, I found it all a little underwhelming… it was basically piss check, Doppler and measure of the bump each time. They will check how you’re feeling and if you’ve felt the baby move and send you to the hospital for further investigation if there’s any concerns though.
At 36 weeks they should be talking to you about birth plans, that’s probably the next interesting bit. They don’t really have long enough to explain all your options so I’d highly recommend doing some private antenatal courses to fill you in on labour expectations, pain relief etc. then you can sort your plan, show them and discuss any bits you haven’t made a decision on
