Is this normal? Anyone else know the weight of their baby yet?

If this was me, I wouldn’t stress. If your doctor didn’t specifically address your child’s weight/growth (being behind or way ahead) I think you’ll be fine.
It also doesn’t hurt to call the nurses line and ask them to elaborate more on this “being 29 weeks and baby is 3lbs” or reschedule an appointment and ONLY focus on talking about this specific concern you have.
But this seems normal to me because I had BIG babies. But everyone is very very different and I don’t want to tell you what you should or should not do. You know the answer.

I had a scan today at 28+2 and baby is 2lb 13oz.
Did they plot it on your customised growth chart and tell you the centile?

I had a scan yesterday and the doctor added it to my personalised growth chart, my LO is slightly over the 3lb which was just over 50th percentile. Maybe have a look at your records again.

I’m 28+4 and baby is predicted to weigh 2lb 10oz. So I think your pretty much middle of the road 👌🏼xx

I’m 29+2 and baby is weighing at 3lbs 3 and on the 87th centile, I was told baby is growing really well and is right on track, I wouldn’t be worried if I was you, I’m sure they would have told you if they had any concerns! X

I had a growth scan at 29+1 and his estimated weight was 3lbs 8oz, sonographer said not to buy too many newborn clothes and focus on 0-3 months but I’ve heard they can be so inaccurate x

I got scanned on Monday (29 weeks) baby predicted today be 3lbs 9oz and on the 95th percentile

are u not scared 😂 I'm terrified how can they be THAT big already x

anything over 8lb for me is a scary birth weight. I'm terrified lol x

no I forgot all my notes on my way home 😂

I had a scan at 28 weeks and they said baby was weighing 3lbs 5oz and said he would be about 9/10lb when born tbh they do get the measurements wrong sometimes x

My baby was 3lb8oz at about 30 weeks, 66th percentile. I had him a day before he was due and was 8lb2oz (seemed so small though sounds heavy). Seems you're perfectly on track from what I've read x
He was in new born for over a month too x

I’m scared because I’ve been closely monitored for having a small baby from 20 weeks until Monday past so I’ve changed gears completely lol as long as baby is healthy I’m happy 💚

If it helps reassure you at all, I'm 26 and I was born at 29 weeks myself and I was 3Ib 6oz. I spent 3 weeks in hospital but I've had no long term problems at all, modern medicine has come a long way since then, your baby will be fine x
