When I was 13 weeks, I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and when I looked down, I had blood on my undies, in the toilet bowl and when I wiped. Luckily I had an ultrasound booked that morning, as soon as they did the ultrasound, I could see my baby bouncing around and he was fine. My baby boy is now almost 6 months. Sending prayers! xx

I bled a lot at 6 weeks, its common with ivf. I have a 1 year old son now. It’s likely a subchronic hematoma x

I had the same thing, it started at 7 weeks, continued on and off until about 12 weeks. The nurses said it was due to all the progesterone I was taking. My little miracle is 2 years old xx

I’m 16 weeks and I’ve had bleeding since week 8. We thought it has resolved at 12 weeks after some huge clots were passed. And then at 14 weeks, my doctor officially cleared me to come off pelvic rest and I started bleeding again. For the last week I have had consistently heavy bleeds with clots that saturated multiple pads in an hour. Each time I’ve gone in (last time was the ER on Wednesday after passing out), baby has been measuring right on track and I’ve just been told to wait it out. I don’t know what the future hold for me since I think I opened up the wound coming off pelvic rest but SCHs are super common w/ IVF. I have 2 more weeks until my anatomy scan and I’m still hoping it dies down or completely resolves by then.

The clots I passed were the size of my palm. My recent bleed had a clot that filled up the entire overnight pad. Thinking of you. These things are so traumatic and never get any better, especially if you’re someone easily triggered like me from recurrent miscarriages.

What helped me was the reassurance from both my fertility clinic and ultimately my OB that we’d closely monitor. I’ve had a scan pretty much every week since 6 weeks.

When I was 6 weeks pregnant I passed a clot and obviously thought I was having a miscarriage but it was my lining shedding! I have a beautiful baby boy :)

I bleed on and off for 1 month I'm now 5.5months with my twin boys.

Had bleeding on both pregnancies (both live births), on my last one I had a lot of clots, one was golf ball sized and my baby is 4 months old. Hang in there.

I have a history of 6 miscarriages from my first 6 transfers so during my 7th pregnancy when I started bleeding at 6 weeks I was devastated, I continued to bleed on and off all the way through to 10 weeks with at least 4 episodes that were a big ‘gush’ of fresh blood in one go. I hated every single person that told me it could be ‘normal’ as it never had been for me but I’m now 17 weeks with a healthy baby! We never found a cause for my bleeding on scans but it never seemed to affect baby at all and I was just told I’m ‘one of those women’ that bleed. Hope everything goes well for you xx

I had a huge red bleed at 6 weeks, day after my scan at the clinic.. turned out to be a subchonic hematoma. They are sooo common in IVF pregnancies! Now have my 8 month old twins xx

This happened me at exactly 6 weeks. I was terrified as I'd previously had 2 miscarriages at exactly 6 weeks.... thankfully the bleed didn't progress. I just rested for few days and tried not stress (near impossible I know!). Babs is now 9 months old 🥰

No they didn’t ! I was quite surprised as honestly there was a lot of blood !!! She just said to come back if there’s any new blood

On my last pregnancy they couldn’t see anything until about 2 weeks after the initial bleed and then after that the SCH was visible so they just not be able to see it yet. A lot of things can cause bleeding though, progesterone irritating the cervix etc. glad baby looks ok!

Ah maybe. I’m praying that’s the end of the blood 🤞🤞 nervous everytime I go to the toilet now. Thank you!! I saw the heart beat 🫶🫶🫶 honestly got the shock of my life as I was sooo convinced it was all over xx

I bled for 4 weeks and had 5 scans in that time, we never found any cause for the bleeds. No subchorionic hematoma or hemorrhage, no areas of bruising and my cervix looked absolutely fine as well! It was awful having no answer but everything turned out okay x
