I was booked in for an induction yesterday on my due date. Called at the time they told me to, was told to call back later or they will call me, as currently really busy and no beds. When called back got the same info still no beds. I got a call at 9pm to request I go in to ADAU for monitoring so they can establish a priority order for those booked for induction and just to wait for a call. Was sent home after the monitoring and booked to go back today for more monitoring. Still no call and whilst there today found out the beds are still full.
Just wondering if anyone else has had experience of induction there and how many days you may have had to wait for bed to become available?
Trying to do what I can to bring on labour spontaneously, however given I need to pee every 5 mins 🙈 that is a challenge

I called on the day and time I was meant to then told call back at 3pm which I did and they said we will call you when we get more beds… they called me at 9.30pm, I was induced at around 11.30pm in the end.
It’s horrible waiting I know you must be feeling really uncomfortable by now so hopefully some beds will become available soon. Good luck with the birth of your little one x

Yes I had this when I was booked in for an induction. Have to wait for a bed to become available.

There is a lot of waiting around with an induction.
how many days were you waiting?
I had an induction with my first at a different hospital and fortunately there was a bed available straight away, was just the waiting to get onto labour ward.
Just keep looking at my phone to see if I've missed something.

Was suppose to go in on the Friday and it ended up being the Saturday evening. I phoned them up loads though.
Still waiting 😠latest call was last night they told me because my cervix was open enough already I will be able to have my waters broken straight away. So gave me two options to go in and wait on the ward for a bed on labour or wait at home for call from labour ward. I opted to wait at home figured would get more rest and have my home comforts and just go in daily for monitoring, though the monitoring isn't including any vaginal examinations, so don't know if any more dilated. Today I've been experiencing a lot of cramps and paracetamol is not touching the sides with it, it's awful. Just keep hoping a slot comes available for me to have my turn
