Looks good to me! Maybe a little bow legged but I don’t think that’s bad? Have you asked her doctor?

Avatar

No I didn’t go a doctor yet I thought it was just baby thing but some people said it is not normal

Avatar

Yes♡ how long has she been walking?

Avatar

she has bowed legs, but it doesn’t necessarily mean anything, did she have a baby walker/jumperoo type thing alot? sometimes that can cause it. it clearly doesnt affect her walking so i wouldnt worry, unless it gives her trouble which it definitely doesnt look like it is then id just leave her be, my brother had bowed legs even as an adult never caused him any trouble x

So so normal I worked a a nursey loads of kids walked like that it’s so funny but why the time they were in pre school it was normal

even my nephew waked like that I think it’s too do with their growing legs and the buldge of their nappy.

My boy has bowed legs too they can straighten out as they get older, my brother still has bowed legs and his son had really bad bowed legs but now doesn’t, it might be more noticeable when babies are walking earlier, it’s something to do with the room in the womb when developing, but don’t worry it will sort it’s self out when baby is about 3-4 years ☺️ if it’s causing her pain or discomfort then take her do the doctors but honestly there is no treatment, looks like she doing great in her feet x

Hi! I had bowed legs when I was a toddler because I started walking really early (9m), my mom took me to many specialists because she was super worry, but they said it was normal and indeed, as I grown my legs just got straight normally

Avatar

It doesn’t hurt her or anything and she started walking when she was around10.

My nephew walked like this, he started walking at 12m and he’s like 18m now and they have straightened out 😃

Might be a little bow legged but I was told that’s pretty normal for young babies because their bones still aren’t hard like ours. Your pediatrician should ask to see your LO walk as part of their normal check ups. If there’s any concern they should mention it then.

Yes it’s normal all babies legs are like this when they first start walking as they grow it will strengthen up

My sister had this when she was a toddler! My parents took her to doctors in Italy, I don’t know what they prescribed her but her legs are like everyone’s now! I think might have been calcium? Not sure!

I don't see anything wrong. Looks like how my little boy walks

Avatar

that is a ridiculous reply. There is no need for any of that.

Avatar

Absolutely normal, but if your concerned speak to your GP.

Avatar

Its perfectly normal while growing it will get better

Avatar

I don’t see the problem

Avatar

that’s bullshit that’s how babies walk until they get stronger

Dummy

My baby has had a dummy since about 2 weeks old (now 5 months) and over the course of the last month we weaned her off it during the day only for naps and night (which was fine) and then 5 days took it completely away during the day.

The first day no dummy was fine, the second bit rougher. But now it feels impossible she just moans and cries all the time it takes ages for her to go down to sleep (she’s always been an amazing sleeper)

I thought it was meant to get better as time went on not worse. I’m at my wits end I dunno what to do.

Currently typing this as she screams uncontrollably in the car and I cry with her cos I can’t do anything.

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Is this normal?

My 12m old is really funny with kids going near him, he’s always been this way, but anytime family’s kids sit next to him or head his way he moans or cries and moves away. He also really observes them and is never really relaxed, always looking over his shoulder. Has anyone experienced this? (He’s starting nursery properly tomorrow so hoping this helps) but is this normal?

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!
