Little one is moving up to the next room at nursery next week. ðŸ˜ðŸ¥¹
The staff were so good to him when he struggled to settle in. What's the etiquette, do people give thank you cards or chocolates when their kids move rooms?

I have given flowers to his key worker and chocolates for the room with a little thank you card x

I bought her key workers a little hanging thing each from etsy that had a "thank you for helping me grow" poem on it. This one https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1214323624/personalised-nursery-teacher-thank-you?ref=yr_purchases

I gave a boots voucher to his key worker and nice chocs for the room and thank you cards as I really did feel they put a lot of effort into his care and updates etc and went beyond what was expected of them. His current room i don’t feel like that, even though I know he’s happy it’s just not the same, so I probably won’t do the same when he moves up again although I reckon I’ll still get the room chocs, so I guess it’s depends how you feel about the staff.

I bought them a box of brownies from a nice local bakery.

I sent some cakes for the room and a copy of her favourite book to leave in the room for the next intake x

Just to give a different perspective. I did not give them anything.
