Firstly , can anyone recommend a good ‘open’ mat (no dangly shit) for baby????
so they have more space to potentially roll/crawl etc etc. My LO hasn’t yet and her mat is soft but she touches the top and bottom so isn’t big enough and all the dangly toys seem to be quite low - also add tho that we have a small living room…
And secondly, my girl seems to be getting a bit big for her next 2 me, not length wise just yet but her arms reach side to side and she keeps waking herself up flapping about. I’m thinking of starting her in her cot in the nursery soon so she has more space. Has anyone done this with their LO before 6 months?

Liewood do some nice open mats without toys on them, or check out Foldimats, they come with a storage bag too.
My son is 5months and I’ve moved him into his cot in his room, we’ve had no issues doing this! In fact I think he sleeps better. He does look lost in it so thinking about getting a cot bumper.
Hope this helps x

Baby spends so much time on this mat. We have a small living room as well just fold it up when I need space. Not sure if it necessarily counts as a mat but thats how we use it

oooooo... is it ok to use that code?? I've had my eye on these

sure, I believe code is the same for John Lewis rewards, we bought ours couple months ago and very happy.

I have this also it’s fab x

We got a tatami style mat off amazon for £40. It’s great as works as a rug too and is soft enough for them to play on as a toddler as it’s cushioned. I use it for yoga too!
We had the same thing but she’s not ready to be on her own yet, so we’ve put her in the travel cot in our room and it’s made a big difference x
