I started having some occasional insomnia after my LO was born a year ago. I kept thinking it would go away, but it’s still happening a year later. Seems to cycle every few weeks, like it’s hormonal. I’m still breastfeeding… could it be that? I’ll be totally fine for a couple weeks then out of nowhere a really rough night. I’m not struggling with anxiety or depression, I have good sleep hygiene, I’ve even tried using Unisom…. Still laying in bed hours on end. It’s killing me especially now that my LO is sleeping through the night and I’m only getting 4-5 hours of sleep some nights. Help!! Any ideas? Things that have helped you? Feeling kind of desperate 😞

How about meditation?
Yes, I do meditate regularly. But I hadn’t thought about thyroid. I have Hashimoto’s disease and take thyroid meds, but maybe the meds need some tweaking. Thanks for the thought.
