Nearly 33 weeks and this pain is getting unbearable. It’s got to the point where it’s taking me a good 5-10 mins to roll over in bed because the pain is so severe. And feels like I’m learning to walk all over again for the first few steps everytime I get out of bed. I’ve tried everything possible to help the pain. Any suggestions?

No help but I feel your pain I’m exactly the same and I can feel my bones especially on the left side of my pelvic grinding 🤢 horrible xxxx

it really is awful. And the groin pain is just something else😫. Feels like everything is tearing. I hate getting comfortable on my side then when the time comes to roll over, I’m genuinely scared to do it because it’s agonising xx

I’m having the same pain also and I just took paracetamol now to ease the pain . Hope it works

does the middle of your pubic bone have a burning sensation like it’s ripping also?! I’ve got physio at half 8 in the morning hoping that can help me 😂😩

yeah it does. Everything just aches so bad. Makes you not want to move because you don’t know what the pain will be like next.😫

unfortunately this pain is beyond help from paracetamol, it does absolutely nothing for me😫 Hope it works for you!

I’m having the same pain .. just been told to take paracetamol .. not to sit/stand/lay down for too long. Stand with legs far apart .. still painful 😣

I'm currently awake still because of this bloody pain, takes me ages to roll over, and I'm the same with walking to its so painful and feels like I've already had the baby, everything seems crushed or pressured, wish I could sleep standing up at this rate as I'm so so uncomfortable x

I had it really badly and it did get better with lots of rest 🤷🏼♀️ my GP signed me off for 2 weeks to rest and the symptoms have not gone but are MUCH better. I was also prescribed better pain relief (something with Codeine in). I find a belly band helps during the day, and my physio has given me daily exercises that I’m hoping will continue to help. I honestly think rest made the biggest difference. In bed, when I really struggled, I turned over via all-fours rather than on my back which felt less painful. Also I use a pillow under my bump which helps. It is really frustrating though - I’m only 25 weeks and assuming it will get worse rather than better over the next few months, and I’m also worried going back to work will exacerbate it again if I’m not careful. I hope you find some respite! Good luck! 🩷

I’m the same, had a physio referral, access to four hydrotherapy sessions (although pool has been closed for a month so waiting for my last two), the last week I have been struggling to weight bear on my right leg, spoke to doctors who just said to take paracetamol four times a day, spoke to physio yesterday who has recommended I go on crutches. Feel like such a failure but don’t know what else to do x

Can completely sympathise - I’ve been having physio since 18 weeks and now on crutches, it’s definitely worth seeing a physio if you haven’t already as they can give advice and help with support belts, crutches etc. it is agony and not fun at all - if you can get to a swimming or hydrotherapy pool that helps temporarily relieve some of the pain as it takes pressure off your pelvis - you don’t need to swim, even just standing or walking in the water helps. You can also discuss with your midwife/GP stronger pain relief that is still safe to help. I take stronger pain relief at night as it’s the only way I can get any relief and sleep. I hope you manage to get a little bit of relief xx

Also agree with Sabrina - taping bump I found really helpful! X

I’ve been suffering since 14 weeks but it was mild back then, and now it’s just excruciating. I’ll definitely give it a go. I find the belt to be super restricting and feels like I’m squashing the baby x
