Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. If you search on YouTube there are exercises you can do to help ease it - certainly can be pregnancy related due to the extra fluid retention

Carpal tunnel can appear in pregnancy, you can use a wrist splint to help and some exercises :) just make sure you have a break with the wrist splint or just use it at night!

Yes, carpal tunnel syndrome - one of the weirdest pregnancy symptoms I never thought I’d have!! (Or even knew about 😭😭)
I find that wearing a wrist splint during the night helps me🥲
But other than that - stay strong, it sucks I know! I’ve had it for over a month😭

Thanks a lot. Will try getting a wrist splint. I have read about it and I think it fits my symptoms exactly. did you just order the splint online or is this something the GP gives you?

you can buy them from boots/ Amazon, most GPs don’t issue :)

yes, I got mine from Amazon but you can get them from a boots too! I also lift my arms when in bed 😅 it sounds weird but sometimes when it hurts during the night, I literally raise my arms to see if the waters don’t all just stay in my wrists/hands area and run down to the rest of my body 🥲🥲🥲
My partner keeps telling me to apply ice too, I haven’t done it yet, but it’s worth a try 🤷🏻‍♀️
