Anyone else?

I’m 29+5. Has anyone else started feeling drained all the time, to the point where your either always in bed early or taking naps? I’m constantly uncomfortable, burping loads, sickness has started again, and I keep going dizzy. I passed out whilst shopping last week luckily my husband was with me and caught me, I’ve phoned triage and all I ever get is if baby is moving your fine.. no clearly I’m not passing out isn’t normal.. I have GD and I’m on iron tablets. But I just can’t stop feeling so drained and wondered if anyone else is the same?

how are you coping with it? On one hand I got people telling me I need to snack on high carbs but then on the other I got the diabetic team telling me I need low carbs because of my sugars. It’s like I can’t do right from wrong and not sure if all the pressure is having the impact on me feeling the way I am at the moment xx

I’ve said this! I stopped working at 16 weeks because I have spd and it was taking my sciatic nerve and being in care of never forgive myself if anything happened to one of the people I was looking after so I made the decision to leave.. i can’t drive anymore so my husband has to do the school run. I have to have baby at around 38 weeks and I’ve said I really can not wait 😓 I don’t remember ever being like this in my first pregnancy! We’re nearly there now I guess it’s a case of counting down 🙈 . But when you read things it doesn’t actually stay anything about feeling so rough!! Just that we will get tired!!

but are they allowing you to go over or just to 40? I was initially told I couldn’t go past 40 (I had placenta problems with my first) but now they’re saying I have to have sweeps from 37 and they plan on inducing me at 38 due to GD!

The things we do to have children! im just glad im not alone! Not glad as in someone else is suffering too but that im not alone 🙈.. xx

I’m 29+2 and super drained. Even more so at the moment because I’m pretty sure I’ve got a bad cold coming out but it’s taking forever to actually come out of that makes sense ?🤣
Defo not normal to faint tho, I’d not b happy with that if baby is moving your fine because people don’t just faint. Xx

this was my arguement but I’ve rang twice as one time I threw up blood and they still weren’t interested in seeing me. They said I have to go to emergency. They give off the impression as they only want to see you if the baby’s movements have changed. But surely any health concerns like that can affect baby so you’d think they’d want to at least check.. I phoned my midwife yesterday and she said the same thing she’s prescribed me iron tablets as consultant said I could just buy over the counter. Midwife doesn’t think they’re any good because of how low my iron is (shop was 14mg, I’m being given 200 I think she said will know later) so there’s a massive difference xx

Pregnant with baby 2

Hi everyone! I gave birth via emergency c section 9 months ago as my baby boy was measuring big, he pooped inside so there was risk of him inhaling it and I wasn’t progressing past 3cm to have a natural birth and now I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I’m having a consultation on Tuesday to talk about birth options and to have any questions answered but I don’t know what to ask. I feel like it would be safer having a c section again but at the same time I don’t want a c section. Does anyone have any question ideas I could ask or any advice/stories of similar situations. Tia

I have a feeling like I might get attacked from this but I’m going to say it anyways. incognito 🥸 GLP1s being mainstream for regular people who are NOT diabetic or morbidly obese is bad for so many reasons 💉💉💉

Side affects, long term dependency, supply shortages and costs, regaining the weight back as soon as you get off them.. all that ASIDE how do people not see just from a zoomed out perspective how crazy it is. I can’t imagine being someone facing food insecurity in an underdeveloped country and watching westerners give themselves daily jabs so they can lose weight while still eating a calorie surplus/ crappy foods. It’s giving hunger games when district 12 Katniss finds out at the party at the capital that people eat and then take a pill to make themselves sick so they can 🤮 and eat some more. These ads running ozempic everywhere are disgusting, and then getting amazing athletes like Serena Williams to push them talking bout “i’ve never been healthier” girl you were an OLYMPIC athlete wym??

Getting pregnant after c section

When did you get pregnant again after a c section? Our plan was always to have 2 under 2 but that is now out the window because I had an emergency section. I know they say 18 months and we will be sticking to it (as much as I don’t want to) but I’m curious how quickly you got pregnant after your section?

Leaving baby for date night

How old was your baby the first time you left them for a night alone with your partner or friends? How long did you leave them for and who did you leave them with?
