Hey 23 and 5
Nearly 4 weeks ago i fainted at work, went to hospital and got checked out, all obs checked out fine, fast forward to yesterday and the same happened back to the hospital and the same results. Just feel like I'm not getting any answers of why it's happening and wondered if anyone had anything similar?

I get faint when standing if I’m dehydrated, had my blood pressure checked when I was feeling faint and it was pretty low. My advice was to drink plenty as your body needs to maintain a lot more blood, also carry some sugary snacks.
Was it when you were standing?

yeh I'm pretty much on my feet all day at work, but when I fainted I was standing still

yeh they checked everything and all came back clear

I’m fine walking but standing still is when I get faint. I walk to and from the train station but if I have to stand on the train is when it’s a problem. Funnily enough I nearly fainted in front on a cardiac consultant and he gave me some tips to tense muscles in arms and legs to push the blood back upwards.
The leg one is where you cross your legs, straight, and tense them up by kind of pushing them together? Difficult to explain.
If I were you, I’d ask if they can make some reasonable adjustments so you aren’t standing for long periods

Thank you, I will definitely try that one in future. x
