Circumcision question

Even tho my sons healed very quickly I kept his entire penis caked with Vaseline just in case anything got stuck or trapped in that area as I’m sure it’s very sensitive for a while

Have u tried ALdis or Sainsbury's own brand Yh same happened I would avoid pulling them off as that could cause more best this is to soak him 2-3x a day and when u see fibres get a wet cotton bud or pad and gently wipe off the fibre

Only Huggies brand do that, we switched to Walmart brand and it stopped

I used honest with my boys and thankfully did not have that issue except for when in the hospital they used Huggies. The circumcision should be okay and I wouldn’t worry about circulation honestly especially because he would cry if it were truly an issue.

That’s normal with most diapers. At least for us! Just make sure you’re cleaning well and removing the fibers as you see them and he should be fine!! 🫶🏼

Yup! I seriously took him to the dr because I thought my boys wasn’t healing because it looked a little rough with all the white when I would pull the skin back and she just took a baby wipe, pulled the skin back, and wiped it all off and just taught me how to properly clean it. For sure ask next time you see your pediatrician because I was CLUELESS

Huggies did the same thing ! We ended up switching to pampers swaddlers and it’s been fine ever since

Maybe do the vaseline idea suggested, we did that for about 2 weeks post surgery just to be safe. But hmm we’ve never had fibres come off our diapers I don’t think (he’s now 6 weeks), but we used huggies 3 times at the hospital and then pampers now. Maybe you could try the pampers pure or sensitive (unless you’ve tried those too).

I am in Canada so we don’t have either of these stores!

yes all pampers were a no go for him :( we caked Vaseline on for weeks too… might be a doctors visit to ask about this issue

Yes I used a n d ointment to keep the diaper from sticking to the wound

Yep!! I always wipe everything down cause this happens and we use pampers swaddles at night and honest during the day- I want a clean brand so any other brands ideas?!
