Recommended pram

Hello mums

I'm looking for a pram that light and also easy to fold (bonus if large bottom space for shop). Bub is 9 weeks, have pram from a friend which bugaboo cameleon but I guess it's now bit smaller for him, also do you prefer a travel pram just one for all or do you have main one as well?
I'm just confuse which one to choose, so many great prams options out there. Thanks

Redbaby prams have come out with easy to fold pram and they are affordable. I had a reds baby pram for my first baby 6y ago and it was so easy to fold I decided to get a bugaboo fox this year just because I like the look of it :)

I love my Uppa baby vista V2 really easy to fold and lift and the basket underneath is huge compared to other prams

I have the Nuna and love it! Nice bottom compartment easy to fold and not too heavy.

I bought the Milly & Coup one and love it. It's quite lightweight and a great sized basket.

I got the Maxi Cozi Zelia 2, lightest pram on the market, I got a capsule to clip into it and it makes living in an apartment with no lift so much easier.

A lot of people rave about about uppabay vista as it's transformable for age plus multiple children, has travel protection when in the bag etc. My husband and I were going to buy this but at $1799 we went with Edwards & Co Olive. Very similar and made in NZ rather than China.

Would 100% recommend spending some time in the shop playing and fiddling with them

I absolutely love my Edwards and co olive pram!! Super easy to pack down and set back up and my Bub loves it

I have the Steelcraft one2 V2. It's the rip off of the uppababy vista, it's got a bigger basket than any other pram on the market, including uppababy (their baskets look tiny!) And over half the price of the big name prams. It's easy to fold, light and easy to navigate with a great turning circle.

Dummy

My baby has had a dummy since about 2 weeks old (now 5 months) and over the course of the last month we weaned her off it during the day only for naps and night (which was fine) and then 5 days took it completely away during the day.

The first day no dummy was fine, the second bit rougher. But now it feels impossible she just moans and cries all the time it takes ages for her to go down to sleep (she’s always been an amazing sleeper)

I thought it was meant to get better as time went on not worse. I’m at my wits end I dunno what to do.

Currently typing this as she screams uncontrollably in the car and I cry with her cos I can’t do anything.

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.

Is this normal?

My 12m old is really funny with kids going near him, he’s always been this way, but anytime family’s kids sit next to him or head his way he moans or cries and moves away. He also really observes them and is never really relaxed, always looking over his shoulder. Has anyone experienced this? (He’s starting nursery properly tomorrow so hoping this helps) but is this normal?

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

Signs of Neurodivergent Toddler

Any moms of neurodivergent toddlers who could help me out? My son is 13 months old. I know that is technically too early for a diagnosis, but I have a gut feeling that he is on the autism spectrum.

The main sign he shows is hand leading. He does not point at all, and instead will take my hand and lead me anywhere he wants to go,
getting very frustrated if I do not follow.

He is also extremely sensitive to being touched, especially when it comes to hats and putting clothes on. He won’t let anything touch his head or face and I have to fight him to brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

He’s very interested in things that aren’t toys and will repeat the same behavior over and over. He can go in and out of doors or walk up and down stairs for hours. He loves taking things out of containers and putting the back in repeatedly.

We recently took him on his first vacation and he REALLY struggled with the change. He struggles with any type of transition or change in routine.

He laughs, makes eye contact, mostly responds to his name, but doesn’t do any other gestures.

Normal toddler behavior or signs of ASD? Let me know your thoughts!
