My 13 month old has just eaten a bit of a page of his pop up book. Should I be worried? 😩 it’s so annoying because he won’t eat food but he will eat anything else. I tried to see if I could get it out of his mouth but he had already swallowed it

My daughter loves chewing on her pop up book/cardboard/paper... theres a little chunk at the side of her book that is missing as a result. I don't think its anything to worry about though xx

My 14 month old put a slug in her mouth once, I managed to take it out before she chewed it it swallowed it. I took her to the doctors because I was so scared and the doctor told me how kids will put and eat anything they see it’s grab as it’s their way of experimenting but it’s nothing to worry about. She said if you’re concerned it’s good to have them checked for peace of mind but it’s pretty normal for them to try to eat things they’re not supposed to 😂

My boy has eaten a dead fly and a dead woodlouse, and very nearly eaten a slug. A bit of paper is the least of my worries 😂 they’ll be fine

Mine took a bite out of the nappy bag box and swallowed the cardboard - I left the room for 30 seconds to put the nappy in the bin 🙄 he’s eaten a few cat biscuits off the floor too!

Mines the same… I regret getting pop up books, he rips and tries to eat it.
