Take miralax it’s a life saver…. I was struggling to take a bowel movement in the Hosp .. they was given me a stool softener and I had to continue taking my iron bc I was anemic during my pregnancy ….. stool softer wasn’t working and they offered miralax and I was able to take a bowel movement

@Anila

Squatty potty!!!

I was going to do miralax, but the hospital gave me some bowel movement gel capsules. I think they were teal or blue.

@Cylvia for how many days u took miralax And since u are taking it you having no issues doing ur poo ? TIA 😊

@Anila I only took it that one time in the hospital ; I never took it again bc I was able to continue to make bowel movements.. I would def try that before anything else … before taking it I already couldn’t make a bowel movement and I was having really bad gassy pain… it was sooooo bad.. but once they gave me that miralax ….. no more constipation or gassy pain!

Probiotics help with everything … good ol’ fashion prune juice? Over ice? What about smooth move tea?

Do not take a suppository. I made that mistake with my second pregnancy. I’ve had 3 c-sections. By the third one, I knew what to do. What helped me was lots of: Stool softener Prunes Hot Cheetos or any food that usually makes you poop. Maybe coffee?

Also, the pain meds are what made me so constipated. I couldn’t wait to stop taking them. The sooner you can get off them (without terrible pain), the better.

The hospital didn't give you them pills? I made sure to take mine constantly and also try eating lighter until after you get them 2 poops out after leaving the hospital.

Thank you so much ladies ❤️ Will definitely try the above things !@Ona they just said to take stool softener That is restoralax Not anything else in particular
