My son is constipated at the moment and I’m looking for all your tips to help him out! He’s in a phase where he only eats like 5 things 😩 so I’m wondering if anyone has any tips for what to do to help! Our pediatrician told us to offer him some juice and more fiber, which is great but he won’t eat much of the fibrous foods 🤦🏻♀️ I’ve also struggled getting juice in him as he doesn’t like it.
So! Any tips on meals that might help a picky, headstrong, constipated toddler?

A small thing of apple juice in water or prunes!

I’ve def struggled too. The cerebelly carrot date bars are really clean organic and yummy to my little. He’s so regular when he eats them. Also whole milk probiotic yogurt and berries especially blueberries have worked for him. I also make sure he gets a lot of water to keep everything flowing.

apple juice!! also those probiotic yogurt smoothies from stony field make my son poop like crazy hahaha

I give my little guy the blueberry apple spinach pouches and he helps him everytime. And o tried it and it doesn’t take like spinach thankfully

I gave my daughter prune pouches 'cause she used to refuse juices. I also give her chia seeds that I soak overnight with oats but you can add them to his meals.

Apple and prune juice worked with us! We just did 50/50 diluted juice.
My daughter gets constipated after drinking cow milk. I asked the doctor what we should do about it and she suggested miralax mixed in with her cow milk.

I had to take my baby to the gi doctor because of this I recommend doing the same. For my baby I give her no sugar added applesauce, prune puree chia seeds in her food like oatmeal and yogurt, smoothies I give her 6oz of water mixed in with Miralax daily

I didn't know apple juice was such a help for this but if he's not taking the juice, what about thin slices of actual apples? Berries r high in fiber.
Also veggies that are tossed in oil and roasted or just cooked in a different way than he's used to?
