We’ve been looking at this car seat however I believe the rule is the baby must leave the hospital in the car seat but i cannot seem to find a video showing how to lift just the carrier out without removing the full seat. Is this possible? And if not what did you do as we cannot be carrying the full thing in and out of the car?

This car seat isn’t suitable from birth, although it says it is it’s really not, it makes the baby chin to chest as they obviously can’t hold their head up & that’s not good for their airways, if you have Facebook join a group called car seat safety UK
It’s really helpful xxx

The hospital cannot stop you from leaving, the rule usually is that they cannot be carrier out. So pram or car seat.
However as the person above said it's not suitable from birth anyway, you usually get a safe fit around 5-6 months ish
