Just wanted to share my last 12 hours to give anyone who’s worrying/wondering some reassurance to listen to our bodies.
I went to bed last night and normally that’s babies most active time, I see my whole stomach moving. I didn’t get that and I tried drinking cold water, stroking, poking etc and really wasn’t getting much and I could just tell something was off and her positioning felt different.
I’ve been breech previously and could tell when she went head down, which was confirmed last week and I had a feeling she had moved again.
Well, I called triage and a couple scans later I was right, at 37+4 her butt is where her head should be and they said it was a good job I came in as I’m already over the stage where they’d arrange to try turning or booking in for c-section.
I was in 2 minds about calling because I didn’t want to seem paranoid but so glad I did. I opted for section as she’s also on track to be a 9lber and wanted the stress taken out of it.
No one knows our bodies or babies better than us 💕
