I just found out this product has been deemed unsafe for babies to sleep in. How ever my baby has been sleeping in one for about a month now. She has a flat head pillow in there that prevents her squishing her face into the sides. My spouse things she will be fine cause of the pillow especially cause we also have a video monitor/ owlet sock on her. I’m just curious here cause she has had no incidents with it but I don’t want one to occur. I. Don’t want any hate from using one cause I honestly didn’t know. I’m just looking for honest opinions (picture of her sleeping in it this morning and before you say anything I just found out this morning too )

There's no hate, it you didn't know then you didn't know. But now that you do know, look up AAP sleep guidelines and recommendations. Read into why this could be unsafe and make changes from there. I personally follow all of their guidelines as that is how I am most comfortable. Do what makes you the most comfortable and secure as a parent

My girl slept in the snuggle me for about the first month and some 😅 I knew it wasn’t technically safe but it was the only way she would sleep without me holding her, not even swaddling would help!

Eh idk how babies aren’t safe in them. We have a snuggle me and my son and daughter have both slept in it. Our bassinet is big so just laying them down in a hard big area wasn’t nice b vs they were used to being all warm and cozy. There’s no way for them to push their face up against it so I think it’s fine. Idk how it’s not safe. There might be some parents who have done crazy things with it. I’d say maybe try without and see how baby does but if babies sleep sucks then go back to it

we use a Vtech, it was 80 bucks and in my opinion works amazing!

what kind of nursing pillow is that

did y’all transition out of swaddles or have you not used them at all?
