Sleep time

Baby's 11 weeks today. I keep seeing they're suppose to be staying awake longer now or maybe taking shorter naps. But this girl wants to sleeeep. If I try to keep her up any longer she is miserable. She'll sleep 6 hour stretches at night and then eat in the morning and take a nap until 11. We call her our sloth bc she's just always sleeping, is this normal?

My baby’s longest time awake is about 1-2 hours max! He is usually sleep or napping and if he doesnt nap, he becomes grumpy. He is 11 weeks also

I also have a veryyy sleepy baby! She’s always seemed to need more sleep than the recommended amount for her age 🤷🏽‍♀️ I watch for her sleepy cues and put her down when she’s tired. Our doc said to make the most of her wake windows. Since she’s awake less than other babies her age, try to engage with her the entire time she’s awake. Singing, outdoor walks, reading, tummy time, etc.. Follow your mommy intuition! You know what’s best for your baby 💗

Totally normal my mom always told me when babies sleep they are growing. As long as she is eating and not running a temperature then shes okay

The longest I let my baby stay up is at least an hour after I feed her then I wrap her in a blanket and put her in her swing and she’s usually out in like a few minutes and sleeps till I have to feed her next

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
