She gets herself so overtired and wound up, a walk strapped to me helps during the day but at night time that doesn’t help. I’ve just had her screaming for close on 3 hours, kept putting her on boob, rocking her, dummy, eventually gave her a bottle of expressed milk (meant to be for 1am but whatever) which calmed her down but still went straight back on my boob after. Seems like she’s drifting off then forces her eyes open. What else can I do?!

She might be cluster feeding which is tough! Our baby did this and we had to feed him over and over again! Getting overtired is so tough though because then they fight sleeping! Our baby still does this! All naps have to be contact naps or in the carrier.

Could you feed her on demand?

I just saw this for some reason and wanted to comment as this was my baby back in the summer!
He is now almost 6 months old but I remember exactly how it feels.
He went through the witching hour most evenings from 6 weeks for about a month. It was hard. So hard.
But it gets better and it’s all something I would go through again in a heartbeat to have by gorgeous happy baby!!
I found it he was less upset when I could get him to nap well during the day, so do as many contact naps as you need to get through.
I also found bringing his bedtime forward (with a bedtime routine) helped avoid it some nights because he went to sleep before he got overtired and starting screaming!
Hang in there, you aren’t doing anything wrong. It doesn’t last forever and it’s so so worth it when they start smiling and interacting and being so happy! You’ve got this x

thank you for this. My little boy is 6 weeks old now and seems to be going through this at the moment.
I will try bringing his bed time forward

Following as I’m exactly same and my girl has reflux!!

Be aware that at 4 weeks they usually go through a leap!
I’m going through the same! It’s veey hard!!!

I’ve had this, I’ve had some 8 hour and 12 hour stints of cluster feeding, I believe it’s yo do with a growth spurt and regulating the milk flow? It’s brutal and tough and I know what you’re going through :( I’m hoping it will pass with my baby soon too, but just know you’re not alone !

4 week old today 5 hours my boy was fight it last night constantly screaming until on my boob then asleep within minutes until he come off to scream again he wasn't hungry just fighting sleep xxx

Oh my goodness it’s been a rough night. She eventually passed out after 5 hours of feeding and crying. And then woke every 1.5 - 2 hours to feed some more.
I’m going to try bring bed time forward, she also only sleeps on me and hates being on her back (think reflux issues).
I hope today will be better 😂

Ah guys I have also had a rough night of no sleep, same thing here my baby is fighting sleep and wants constant feeding. I wonder how long this stage lasts ! Hope you get some naps in today x
