I have officially ended my breastfeeding journey after 23 months of going strong. This has been my longest breastfeeding journey out of all my children. Im going to end with telling everyone to stay encouraged and continue giving your baby this liquid gold till you can’t anymore!

Well done you as I can say it is not an easy journey! We push and press on - thanks for the encouragement 🤗🎉

Weldone and congratulations 👏🎉 you did a great job 👍 thanks for the encouragement 😊 I'll keep pushing as my little one still loves and enjoys it so much.

Any advice on how to make it that long? Especially once they’re on solids and/or sleeping through the night.

It depends child by child. What I did was offer each time my child wants it. More like a child lead type of environment.

Amazing! I’m entering month 18 with my first. Hoping to get to 24 which I think my LO will love. Not sure how to approach weaning but we’ll figure it out. Congrats on 23 months!

Ahhh well done mama! Our journey ended a few weeks ago too at 22 months (I was deficient in folic acid and just found out I was pregnant again so didn't want any more nutrients being sapped from me 😆). My daughter had been down to just one short feed before bedtime for quite some time anyway and it was surprisingly smooth for both of us to stop 🥹

Well done you! My daughter just self weaned too, just before her 4th birthday. It’s a very bitter sweet moment but a lovely end to the journey.

Well done!! 👏

👏 Amazing! I'm speechless.

Amazing Grace ✨🙌🏼✨
