My hips side sleeping😫

My hips are so sore when I wake up even in middle of the night I woke up to pain I have to change sides. I never used to be a full on side sleeper I always ended up rolling half way on my tummy but now I can’t and this pain just killing luckily during the day I don’t feel anything but at night it’s a nightmare. Also anyone else feel just heavy and I feel so uneasy uncomfortable my bump it’s so hard and feels like sometimes I’m gonna pop out.

Sounds possibly like sciatica pain! I had it over Christmas on my right side so slept on my left, now it's on my left! Vicious cycle šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Are you using a pregnancy pillow? I've found that has helped me with positioning in bed and I have less restlessness and more comfort in my hips

I'm getting spasms across my hips when sleeping on my side. Using a variety of pillows but it just delays the pain rather than stop it. For now I've resorted to sitting mostly upright and trying to sleep when the pain starts. But I've also put in a self referral for physio through my local NHS. Hoping they may be able to help.

I have the same issue, my hips are so uncomfortable, I get such a broken sleep now! I'm also waking up with bad leg cramp - I think the pregnancy pillow weight between my knees was causing it so I'm thinking of ditching the pregnancy pillow šŸ¤”
I'm going to talk to my midwife about the hip pain at our next appointment and she what she says, she had already referred me to a physio for pelvic floor exercises, so maybe I'll get a referral again

Yes I get it, I had a physiotherapy group session Friday and she said to try and put pillows under your hips for support and so your not lying flat on back but not completely on side either

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
