Mamas who are managing longer stretches of sleep at night now, what do you days look like with you lo's and how old are they? My lo is 7 and a half weeks and we are only managing 2 sometimes 3 hour stretches. The last stretch in the morning also normally only lasts an hour š“ Im wondering if hes sleeping too much in the day or if I need to try and keep him awake etc

Exactly the same as you here & EBF x
Same here with the EBF, wondering if thats part if it? X

Itās completely normal for them to wake up this frequently, particularly breast fed babies š
We have had the occasional 4 hour stretch and once was blessed with a 5.5 hour stretch (I didnt sleep because I kept checking he was okay š) He has bad reflux so hes in a reflux bed in a love to dream swaddle. If hes not in the swaddle he wakes himself up

My boy is EBF. We regularly get 4 hours then 3 overnight. Last night he went 5 and half between feeds but took ages to actually settle, so I couldnāt make the most of it. I think he sleeps better at night if heās had some good active awake time during the day. I think he also sleeps longer when we cosleep.

Maybe it is because I only managed to do 2 weeks BF with my daughter and by 8 weeks she was doing at least 3 hours and 30 minutes at a time. I think the formula keeps them fuller x

I cosleep exclusively for this reason. He sleeps longer and is generally more settled x

we cosleep too, game changer!!

we do a mix, whatever works on the night. I do like cosleeping more than I thought I would but I do get achy staying in one position all night!

Cosleeping and EBF, my 8 weeks old some days sleep for 5 hrs between feeds

same here but if youāve booted dad out like I have for the time being š then switch sides each feed, I find that helps xx
