My son is 9 months now, he’s still going through sleep regression but it’s starting to become a bit unbearable. Don’t have an issue with him waking up every few hours in the night, I know it’s for his development, new skills etc. but he doesn’t allow us to put him back down again, he screams and cries until we pick him back up, but literally as soon as he’s back in our arms he goes off again in seconds. We’re wanting to put him in his own room too but I feel reluctant to this especially with the way he cries. His nappy is changed and we make sure he’s had some milk so we know he’s not hungry or wet in the night. I even tried Co-sleeping with him last night but I felt like I couldn’t sleep, just out of worry, on the bright side he seemed to enjoy Co-sleeping and it was nice to cuddle with him but I’ve gone nearly 3 nights now with next to no sleep.

We had a similar situation with my boy, He didn't sleep through until he was about 3½ but I found that co-sleeping was my only option because I was just so exhausted. He was still waking up hourly until he was three, some children just don't seem to need the sleep as much as others. I know this probably isn't very reassuring but what I'm trying to say is that co-sleeping is not the worst thing in the world as much as people make out it is, there are safe ways of doing it, of course only if you are comfortable with it xoxoxo

Hang in there ❤️ You got this ❤️
is there a specific way to co-sleep, I’m so scared of rolling on him 😔
thank you, I just worry in case there’s something we’ve done wrong, why don’t they come with manuals 😂

I always had Alex on the inside of the bed so there was plenty of space for him to wriggle around, We have a king size bed so I would be on the edge, I would get him to fall asleep with me closer to the other side and then once he was asleep I would roll back over onto my side, So I wasn't actually anywhere near him through the night ❤️ then when he needed feeding I could just roll back over and feed him, I'm sure you've not done anything wrong ❤️ They are just all different ❤️ I got very unlucky with Alexanders sleep 🤣🤣 It's still not great now but we are getting there slowly lol. With my next baby I am planning on having a next me crib so that I can co-sleep without actually co-sleeping but that is purely so that it's not a hard habit to break because I let it go on for a little bit too long with Alex and then getting him in his own room is a nightmare lol. Xoxo
Thank you for your help, I’ll give it a go tonight and see how we get on 🫶🫶
I didn’t even think about that 🤦🏻♀️ thank you I’ll give it a go 🤍

Good luck❤️❤️ you got this ❤️❤️
