First question should be- “How long is the waitlist?”.
Other than that, I asked 100 different questions… anything that popped in my mind. For example, The cost of per day, opening hours, their food service, nappy changing schedule, what type of activities will they be doing, how can I follow my bub’s learning program, how many kids will be in his room, how many educators, what are their safety protocols, in case of medical emergency what will they do, who else can pick him up in my absence etc etc.

Most important one for me was, are staff casual or permanent? and what's the staff turn over like? If you join your local mums group on Facebook you could also ask for reviews there.
Book a tour, and see what the centre is like during a normal day. I went to a centre once, and children were unsupervised in other rooms.
