I started my baby on purees on 29th December at 6 months. She's not a big fan so far. I thought it would be a good idea to start at night time an hour after her last breastfeed and an hour before bed. I'm really not sure if it's coincidental or not but since then, she's so restless at bedtime. She will go to sleep on the boob initially and wake up still on me within 20 mins before I get a chance to transfer her to her cot and stay awake for another 30mins to an hour. She's restless and keeps unlatching, turning away from me, looking at the fan then latching on again and repeat. It's soooo frustrating. Do you think it could have anything to do with solids whether that food is giving her another burst of energy or if her tummy doesn't like it? Not that she seems upset. We have an established bedtime and bedtime routine she's had for months. Anyone in a similar boat? Thanks in advance. I'm going to give her her solids at breakkie time tomorrow.

It’s possible. I started solids as breakfast. It was easier to track changes in behavior and diapers as far as looking for allergies or just food that may not be tolerated well. Also I think 6 months is the earliest it’s advise to start solids so her stomach might not be mature enough for it just yet either. But that’s my amateur opinion
