Help! Gender reveals

So I’m not doing one reveal this time, it was abit too much last time so we are doing small intimate ones with the nearest and dearest and I’m having a private scan 2 days after my birthday on the day I’m seeing all the girls to celebrate. We already know we are buying 3 cannons - one for his parents and then my parents are split with long term partners so they are each having one but they aren’t doing it until the day after.

How do I do a reveal with my friends? Must be without confetti etc cos we are going to a restaurant but meeting at my house before, although I don’t want confetti at mine just incase the in-laws come down and see any of it, spoiling the surprise.

(Don’t worry they’ve been told they aren’t allowed to say anything before the parents know. Would’ve also done it with parents first but they’re working on the Saturday that’s why they aren’t finding out til the Sunday)

Any ideas that can help??

I made gender reveal cake pops and handed them out to my friends. It was an easy, low mess gender reveal before we went out for a meal after to celebrate

great idea I never thought about anything like that! I don’t think I’ll be able to do anything like this. Scan is at 10 but 40 minutes away and meal is at 3.30 15 minutes away. Also my best friend is turning up to get ready with me before the meal like we used to do on our birthdays before we got old, so I don’t want to let it slip til all my friends are together

We had about 6 hours between scan and meal so pre made the cake and crumbled it before, when we got back dyed it blue (had both colours just in case) and then covered it with chocolate. I think it took about 2-3 hours from adding the dye to them setting in the fridge ready to eat

I got my daughter to draw a heart on my tummy in blue but we made the video black and white until the last few seconds when the colour was revealed. We sped the video up too otherwise it would have been too boring to watch 😂

I did cupcakes for mine, baked the cupcakes beforehand then filled the inside with the right colour before taking to my parents 🤩 x

i really want another baby

i am merely a few months pp but i want another baby, but i am scared of the age gap (2 under 2) and also with everything going on in the world i just think its not the best idea at the moment but i am having crazy baby fever and miss having a newborn🥹

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Has anyone ever had pain in the bone at the bottom of the lady area?

How I can only describe it is I feel like I have a fracture or the bone is broken right at the bottom of my vagina bone obviously don’t think it’s to the extent but that’s how it feels. I had it in my last pregnancy and the pain went few months postpartum now it’s back again with this pregnancy. These are the results that u e googled I think I may have the first one has anyone every had this or something similar

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
