Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s got an 18 month old that still doesn’t sleep through? With a partner who has NEVER helped at night time because they ‘work full time’. I’m constantly tired, we’ve never had a full nights sleep and we’ve tried everything. I have two other children and I work aswell. It all just gets too much sometimes💔

You’re not the only one!! My little one has rarely slept through and is currently waking up every night screaming. I think she just wants me to sleep with her as she’s fine when I go in her room. I’ve been told it gets easier but am struggling too. But you’re not alone. Hang in there ❤️

Me too! My almost 18 month old doesn't sleep through. We both work full time too so it's definitely not easy. He sleeps much better if he's next to us. As bad as it is when he comes in from his first wake up, I just put him in bed with us as we need sleep to function in the day 😂. We tried sleeping training him and after 2 weeks we gave up as we were almost dead. My husband does help in the night though or he'll take him in the morning before work so I can get an extra hour or something.
We'll all get through this though 💪🏼 🥰

exactly the same as us! Slept through the first 15 months of his life always self soothed now having to sit with him until he goes to sleep, wakes screaming between 11-12 and comes in with us as the only way he’ll settle. Keep telling myself one day he’ll just sleep through again and I’ll miss the cuddles.. but I don’t know if I’m kidding myself 🙈 x

Same here! My LG has slept through twice. I'm a single mam and it tiring some days 😴 but I keep telling myself it won't be like this forever 🥰

We’ve only had 5 full nights in 18 months, and there’s always been a dream feed in there. It’s mostly me that gets up during the night with him but if he doesn’t settle back after a feed my husband goes in to settle him. Being a parent is more than a ‘full time’ job, shouldn’t just be mum who has to work 24/7

11-12 seems to prime time for these toddlers 😂. But some nights are worse than others, 2 wake ups is a good night for us. We also have a routine - calm playing, bath, reading, bottle, bed - so it's not a routine thing, he knows at 6.30 it's getting to bedtime and will take himself to the stairs to go up to bed.
When I was on mat leave I would do all the wake ups but now my husband is more than happy to help. Apart from days where he's up at 5am, I have no problem with it though as I'd rather he not kill himself 😂. I work from home with my babes too so it can be a proper shit day some times 😂. When my husband gets home he becomes the primary parent while I cook / clean etc.
Have you spoken to your partner about it all? I'm assuming you have.. he should pull his weight with parenting too. Its a 2 person job. 🥰
