Totally normal! Every newborn is expected to lose some of their birth weight in these early days- they literally can’t metabolise what they eat until around 5+ days old.
They only really tend to worry if it’s >8% of birth weight lost, so 4% is nothing to worry about- just keep doing what you’re doing and he’ll put it back on in no time 😊
If you are worried about how baby is feeding, you can ask to get him reweighed/take him into a clinic to get weighed again, if it would reassure you.
thank you so much for the detailed information

A 4% weight loss is amazing and nothing to worry about. It’s completely normal. My LO is EBF and had lost 6% and I think my first born lost 8% but they were massive to begin with.

Thats amazing! Most babies lose up to 10%! My girl lost 8% (she was 9lb4 lol) and had regained that weight by day 11 and the midwives were happy x

On the 3d day my girl lost 8 % and regained by day 10 with exclusively breastfeeding
