With my first I only gave him the first feed or tried to then went to formula. This time I would like to give both breast milk and formula. I do not want to breast feed though so I want to pump. With my hospital bag do I pack the readymade bottles or try and collect colostrum and take that with me. Or do both lol?

Best to ask your midwife. Definitely try to harvest colostrum from 37 weeks and you can always bring a formula as a back up

I’d do both just so you’re prepared. When I had my first they had syringes to collect colostrum and also pumps to use as I struggled to breastfeed initially so expressed instead while I was still in the hospital :)
