Doulas in London

Hello lovely community, I was wondering if like me anyone else is thinking of hiring a doula (or has done so in the past) for labour and birth? If so, would you have any recommendations or any contacts to share? I don’t really know how to find one other than googling it, but then I would have no idea if they’re good or not. Thank you!!

Hey Susy I’m a doula and would be happy to chat. Otherwise, I’d suggest looking at the doula uk directory. Every doula on there has done a certified course. ☺️

I had a doula and had a great experience! Would really recommend having one. I found mine here:

I had an amazing doula, Lydia West - very well informed, a supportive advocate, and also offers post partum support:

Hello Susy! I think what’s really important, is to have clarity around your relationship with birth as a topic, and as an energy. I am a Doula - and happy to share a workbook with you so that you can dive deeper into this topic! That way you’ll be able to identify where you need support, and find the right fit for your labour. Most Doula’s offer a first conversation free of charge, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore if there’s a match and ask your questions.

If you’d like the workbook, just drop me WhatsApp message on 07494630696. Or find me on IG: @ayurvedamamma_

Good luck with this part of your prenatal journey. It’s so exciting! 🥰🥰

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
