I did it with my daughter who is now 5 and it was so much easier. My son will go for more than 1 hour crying (me checking and comforting him with intervals). The first night I would pick him up and rock him. Last night I tried to not pick him up and just comfort by padding or caressing his head. After more than an hour I gave up and rocked him back to sleep. My heart shatters over and over every second I hear him cry.

Awe- my heart shatters as well!! Something that worked for us was gently massaging their forehead, between their eyes, and temples. Helped my LO calm down and begin closing their eyes. I also read somewhere about creating a consistent routine to help associate sleep time. For example: read books, drink milk, check diaper, saying goodnight & time to bed, then placing baby down. Repeating whatever you choose your routine and being consistent. Hope it gets easier for you both!!!

Sending love mama!!!! We did a modified Ferber and first 2 nights were rough but got easier and we got down to only 1 visit by night 4 and 5! He is protesting the change but can feel your love!

I tried it and the first week was so painful 😣 but by the 2nd week she actually started sleeping well
